You flat nailed it. Based on that no conclusion can be drawn or reasonable inference made that vets are prone to join extremist groups.

There are also a lot of wanna-be’s who gravitate towards the white supremacist or other extremist movements. They like to pretend they had this glorious military career instead of admitting they washed out or were discharged.
