I am sorry if this has already been talked about. I am just too busy at work to catch up here.

BUT I want to say this where others will understand:

This is twice in as many months that “government has information on a known extremist, and that information is not shared and acted upon as it should have been”.

Fool me once, shame on you, Fool me twice shame on me.

The Ft Hood killer (Hasan) was known to the authorities as an extremist. The reporting was done, and NOT SHARED OR ACTED UPON.

The Christmas Day bomber was known to the authorities as an extremist. The reporting was done, and NOT SHARED OR ACTED UPON.

AND BOTH have Imam Anwar al-Awlaki in common.

At the start of November, I didn’t hear Obama talk about how the FACT that the information that Hasan was an extremist wasn’t shared or acted upon, and that he (Obama) considered that totally unacceptable.

I didn’t hear him talk about how we should learn from THAT episode and act quickly to fix the flaws in our system.

THIS WE CAN STATE CATEGORICALLY!
