I worked for many years as a contractor at Ford. I worked on Ford projects, in a Ford building, using Ford equipment, wearing a Ford ID, and had an email address ending in ford.com.

But my paycheck was issued by the contracting agency, who also provided my benefits, therefore I was a contractor.
