Why did Harding step out? A former head of the DIA surely has the right stuff to head TSA.

Maybe he talked it over with his family and they decided not to go through what everyone else has. I’m sure he knows he’ll have to crawl through hell for who knows how long to be confirmed. Maybe he fears being on an episode of Beck with his words taken out of context or maybe he isn’t up for having his image being photoshopped on Malkin’s site with blood dripping off of him or if he’s ever said something remotely civil rightsy… photoshopping him wearing African garb or something. They could not pay me enough to go through that shit in this current atmosphere since I am not a perfect person either.

Good grief, I’m getting a cold, I’m out of coffee and I’m grumpy. :(
