Hence “(secular)” in one of my previous comments. Religious views are based on faith and thus arbitrary.

So are secular views as shown by the divergence in those secular views. There is no logic in any of them despite what we would hope. All we can do is create laws that protect those who really need protection - the women - and prevent the extremists from harming them.
