Schiff’s talking a good game, but the GOP leadership will not allow a vote on any bill to reinstate the Independent Counsel Act. These asshats have spent weeks throwing all sorts of shade on Mueller and his investigation, you think they’re going to suddenly decide that his termination means its time to rise up against Comrade Combover? Hell no, they’ll express “dismay” and “concern,” but behind closed doors with wipe sweat from their brows and congratulate each other on having seen off that particular investigation.

If the GOP leadership can’t present a plausible show of investigation, then 2018 becomes a do-or-die situation for the sleeping electorate. They won’t risk that.
