Colorado has a stellar snow pack, with all of the major river basins besides the southern San Juan Mountains reporting over 100% of average snow pack and water weight.
Meanwhile in the Sierra Nevada, the snow is gone. I don’t know. Ask darthstar. I bet it’s gone.
Which doesn’t bode well for a frightening term I see from time to time in National Weather Service forecast discussions, Fire Weather.
