Outside of a declared war, I don’t think you can gun down a bunch of people without being mentally ill. He went beyond that and prayed with them for an hour first. I’m not religious, but even to me, that’s totally insane.

Well-thought out racism is very stupid, but not necessarily insane. Of course we consider anyone with such obvious disregard for human life as insane, but without dismissing his thought system and beliefs.
