There’s some truth to the idea of the dignity of work. But I also believe it’s tied to fair pay… nobody wants to work if that work is going to treat you like shit and for pay that means you’re still going to have to apply for welfare benefits that said work may no longer allow you to qualify for.

Labor is prior to, and independent of, capital. Capital is only the fruit of labor, and could never have existed if labor had not first existed. Labor is the superior of capital, and deserves much the higher consideration.
