Unfortunately a lot of us are cynical tools that vote GOP.

Interestingly, Hillary Clinton according to a Navy Times poll I saw got the most votes from active duty, and Gary Johnson did about three times better than he did in the electorate at large. (That might be due to the Libertarian Party position on warfare.)

Some of the most bigoted stuff I know sadly comes from people who I know are vets or closely connected to the military. Wish there were more vets like you who have ya know empathy.
