Trump supporters in general aren’t decieved. They are just evil. They choose their ignorance out of vindictiveness and fear.

They will be, in hindsight, regarded as evil in the same way various authoritarians and their enablers have been defined by history books. Future history books will record that Trump supporters were part of a cult. This cult is defined by their rejection of facts, science, history and general evidence not aligned with their pre-determined ideology along with the worship of a deeply-flawed cultural tribalism known as “whiteness.”

White dominionist Christianity has evolved over the last 50 years or so into a full blown self-apartheid cult that has effectively cut off around 2% of the world’s population apart from the other 98%. And the gap is only widening.
