One of the underreported parts of his horrible rant was his statement to the effect of “They keep telling us how to run things”, with the obvious implication that this is improper. These are duly-elected members of the House. They very much get to a vote (and more) on how we run things. The clear subtext is that because they are women and/or a POC, their criticisms are invalid.

(And of course, they wouldn’t even have to be members of Congress. We have a representative democracy—everyone gets a say in how we run things).

The nerve of these black women, telling white men how to run things! Trump was free with his advice when he was just a reality TV celebrity, but of course that was different because he’s equipped with a penis.
