Thatās weird. āVoter IDā stopped trending as soon as it hit lunchtime in Russia.
In Russia, as in many other countries in Europe, everyone has a registered primary address. If you are a citizen, registering your address automatically puts you on the voter rolls for your voting district. You just have to show up with your (mandatory) ID, vote, and your name is crossed off the list.
Amazing how well a system like that can work.
So how come we canāt have nice things?
