So this phenomenon is going on: Fox News is becoming even more dominant in cable TV. On any given night their shows top the leader board in viewers and often in the demos.

I thought perhaps it’s due to the pandemic.

Note that Fox News now is the dominant network for the young demographic, but often gives up the top spot in 12-34yo females to one of the music/special interest channels. But just barely.

Another possibility is that Trumpers and their families are trying to take TV-refuge, as pretty much the rest of cable TV is only going to be hammering home what a mess things have become under Trump.

Anyway, it’s a trend that is quite noticeable.

i wonder whether the other networks lost / are losing viewers to fox, or those people are just not watching that kind of tv at all, so the market is shrinking and fox has a bigger piece of a smaller pie
