I am sure that you are well aware of the below. But since I have already written the post, I will post it anyways. ;)

Additionally, Dunford was pointing out that there are medical conditions. Some require medicines. These medicines in turn require contraceptives. Plus, of course other medical conditions where the required life saving operations are expressly forbidden by various state laws.

There are also legal questions. If life begins at conception, and there is a miscarriage, does that require a US Military investigation?

And that does not even get to the crazier stuff. Like some state legislatures discussing banning women of reproductive age from leaving the state. Does that prevent some service personnel from deployment or pcs? Or what happens if they are assigned tdy in such a state?

Why does the military, which already has a lot on its plate have to deal with this. Particularly if each state has a different patchwork of laws.
