Lane objected to O’Rourke’s characterization, insisting that defense counsel be clear that it was not a trial but a procedure conducted by an internal faculty committee. The judge overruled Lane’s objection.
Yeah- don’t let the jury know the U of CO found this man to be an utter fraud and that’s why he lost his job and the only recourse he has is to invent a free speech violation. Good on the judge for not allowing churchill’s lawyer to be a dick.
