Even in Error, Breitbart Attacks

This is really starting to look like an “own goal” of epic proportions for Breitbart. I hope it dogs him into obscurity.

Andrew Breitbart, the conservative agitator behind websites like Breitbart.com and BigGovernment.com…

I wish people would stop using that adjective in conjunction with people like Breitbart. There is nothing conservative about him, what he has done, nor is there anything conservative about those who support him in this. The better term is “reactionary”.

Alas, I hold out no hope. The term has been perverted by both the left and the right to the point that it is meaningless. I am seriously beginning to feel the pain of those here in the past who once identified as “liberal”, and have since disowned the label due to similar perversion.

Oh yeah. Breitbart was associated with her at one point during the creation of HuffPo.

True:

He went on to work for Arianna Huffington, once described as the most upwardly mobile Greek since Icarus, during her rightwing phase. Breitbart helped launch the Huffington Post in 2005, but they parted company when Huffington lurched to the left. Breitbart has said that he wants his sites to be conservative versions of the Huffington Post.

What a lofty goal.
