Like I noted above, neither party has faced a situation as unfavorable as the DNC saw in the Senate this year since 1970. Then, as now, the DNC had to defend 20+ seats vs the GOP’s 10. And just like last night, the DNC held the GOP to a measly 2 seat gain.

I think they might have gained a net of 3: MO, ND, FL, IN, minus NV. Also saw in the NYT that Tester in MT was losing by a few thousand votes, but still expected to win? That one bears watching.
