Oh right. I got confused over the Weiner computer—email thing because I was guilty of reading Louise Mensch’s bullshit at the time. I can’t remember what is fact and what is fantasy.

The GOP is good at baffling with BS, and then there are shit stirrers like Mensch and Abramson who are good at capitalizing on confirmation bias. I’ve blocked Mensch and tuned out Abramson.

Fact is, if you want to follow what’s going on with the investigation, better to look to people like Preet Bharara who actually knows what he’s talking about than Mensch who’s bull shitting legal mumbo jumbo and claiming secret indictments and criminal charges against Trump are already filed when that’s not how the process works.

Bharara’s much more cautious when it comes to stuff like the Flynn guilty plea - noting that Mueller may have gotten the plea that he did because that’s what he’s able to prove at the present, or that Mueller’s keeping his powder dry for other charges down the road - or handing them off to state prosecutors that are beyond the pardon power reach of Trump. I think the latter’s probably correct, but it’s a combination that Mensch and other folks clamoring for impeachment don’t want to hear.

It just takes time to develop cases - especially ones as complicated as this.
