Me too. It enabled me to vote for the first time at age 19. (Okay it was for Nixon which doesn’t make for the best argument now, I grant. At least I learned from it.)

If it was 1972, don’t feel bad, three-fifths of the country voted for Nixon. I really wonder how differently we think of Nixon if he wasn’t so paranoid as to greenlight Watergate. I suspect the entire course of the last quarter of the twentieth century is drastically different.
