He’s from way up north, by Colorado. That would be a few states away, to you Easterners. He’s from a big old NM family (his cousin was just elected governor), and seems more work horse than show horse. He will serve well wherever he goes. The woman who took our governor-elect’s seat in congress is one of the native american women debuting in congress next year, Deb Haaland. She was the state chair of the Democrats. She’ll go far.
