Uh… that’s the way I see things, too.

To play your bird-brained devil’s advocate, would it not be fair to say that someone thinking of attending a school which has strong, committed religious beliefs should know, or at least try to find out, exactly what they are getting into if they decide to attend that school? If so, then why should they be surprised to learn that such school is serious about their beliefs once they are there. Right now the political mood is such that catholic beliefs can and should be challenged to push a more liberal agenda nationally. Birth control and abortion for all is part of that push.

If the catholic church didn’t want to offer the same benefits as every other business in their field, they should get out of that field.

Don’t open up hospitals if you care more about “being moral” than saving lives.

Don’t open up a school if you care more about “being moral’ than seeing that your students get what they need to attend classes and be physically healthy.
