I don’t know how Farkahan has this image of being on the left. McCain in 2000 drew a false equivalency between him and Falwell/Robertson. Farrakahan never influenced the left the way Falwell and the religious right did the GOP. It was still an act of courage to go after the religious right though because no Republican has done it since then in the primaries for President.

How does he have the image of being on the left? Pull out the Republican Leftist Colour Chart.
