If he isn’t in a situation where he can declare victory on election night via refusing to acknowledge the uncounted ballots the odds of it improving enough that he can declare victory later on are rather slim, so he can be sour about his defeat all the way up to the point that the Secret Service escorts him out to make way for President Biden.
