Here is a short list of just some of the crap that has been thrown at Palin and Chelsea, which no one made a big deal over:

We’re long overdue for a discussion about misogyny and sexism in this country. Personally, I would like all these things to be called out for what they are when they happen— instead of any of us pretending that only one side of the political spectrum is infected with them.

I know you didn’t include the MSNBC guy announcing that Chelsea was being pimped out for her mother’s campaign, since kind of a big deal was made of it, but in my estimation, not enough of a big deal. On several blogs I read I was staggered at the numbers of comments supporting the “no biggie” premise. As far as I know, that man is still doing his thing at MSNBC after his two weeks of standing in the corner. Did he ever apologize even?
