Yeah, teh greenpeace ones I remember. Not a big fan of theirs - But I hate them slightly less than the the racist indian-hating Paul Watson and his Sea Shitbirds group. I hate that guy like Happy Gilmore hates Bob Barker.

But these ads are for various things- ACORN, and othe community groups. Low-paying jobs, but they are paying part-time jobs for essentially “professional activists” - show up, get handed a sign, act liek Islamic RageBoy for a few hours, get back on the bus and head home, leaving all yoru garbage behind. ;)

Sure about that? I ask because “teh left” isn’t getting on buses or marching with signs right now.

They’re doing what they always did in the case of greenpeace— harassing passerby to sign petitions, cold calling, knocking on doors.
It’s likely telemarketing for various opinion services, seriously. They’ll couch it as “activism!” because that’s a hot word right now— but they’ve always hired college students for temp jobs, you know?
