Actually America has a long tradition of book burning. So the support “pastor” Jones is getting is not surprising. But it is alarming that we seem to be moving backward.

One of the reasons I begged Mrs. Barnum for a nook for our anniversary (The E-reader you filthy minded people). Best present I ever got. However, my expenditures on reading material have gone up exponentially. It’s just too easy to hear about an interesting book and order it right there off my phone.
