There are sometimes issues with DNA evidence - particularly when a particular jurisdiction’s crime lab is doing illegal/unethical things, or DNA claims are made that are statistically unsupported. DNA is a tool that vastly improves convictions and keeps innocent people from going to prison and helps secure pardons of those convicted of crimes in years past. But it has been used and abused as well.
Exactly. No system devised by man can guarantee we do nor wrongly convict people. Assuming that premise, I just can’t bring myself to support the death penalty.
