This is exactly the attitude I’m worried about. If Democrats say we are going to rally around our sexual predators because Trump has set the standard, why should women vote for Democrats? We should not aim for the moral standards of Donald Trump, because he has none.

I have known sexual predators. There is nothing I’ve seen thus far to suggest that Franken is anything close to being one. Know what I’m seeing as a huge clue?

Predators are guys who manipulate and maneuver to get women alone. I don’t think I’ve ever seen or experienced any exception to this. The LAST thing they want are witnesses. That’s how they get away with their predatory behavior for so long. (See Moore, Roy and Weinstein, Harvey for examples.) It always remains in the “he said she said” arena and we know who wins those in our culture, particularly because predators choose victims whose credibility will be denied.

The Franken accusations involve instances in what appear to be very public places with many witnesses. This is contradictory to predatory behavior. Can we please have some fucking perspective here?
