Yeah, but staying true to ourselves has usually meant getting kicked in the junk by the electorate who will fall in love with a charismatic liar than anyone genuinely repentant.

Honestly, this is kinda where I’m at right now. My day today was miserable in large part thanks to the fact that spineless management basically let a bunch of guys get away with shoddy and unethical practices because it produced results. It’s like, what motivation is there to play fair if life rewards those who don’t?
