I had a thought about taxes and wages: Can anyone actually earn more than $200/hr? And what I mean is in the sense that what they actually do, what they contribute to the economy in the sense of labor (and when I talk about labor I mean anything from physical labor like collecting garbage to more mental tasks like software development or management).
My belief is that there really is an upper bound to what a person should earn for what they contribute, and that any earnings after that can easily be subjected to significantly higher tax rates.
I suppose if you are a first-rate surgeon or lawyer you might be able to command those rates.
The management issue Iām not so sure about. Look at people like Marissa Mayer or Carly Fiorina.
