Trust is not any part of the current political climate. The sudden need for it is just the next excuse the Republicans are putting out there for screwing all the undocumented Americans who are eventually going to become citizens and rightfully kick that party’s ass across the continent.

They aren’t Americans if they came here illegally as adults. I’m prepared to provide a path to citizenship for the person who was brought across the border when he was 8, but there’s a good argument to be made that his father should never become a citizen.
