I think the problem here is you have a “theoretical” problem. In other words, since this guy seems to be all mouth and not much action, you can overlook it. Now, what will you do when his cheerleading contributes to another Charlottesville? You don’t think his postings and forwardings can instigate such a thing? You don’t think some asshole will read about the “welfare cheats”, lose it, and commit violence? Speech may be free, but not free of consequences. I won’t even speculate that your friend could do violence himself, because I’m sure you would deny it. Everyone always denies it and says what a surprise it was when interviewed later.
