re: #410 Targetpractice

That has got to be one of the laziest defenses out there, “God has forgiven me!” Well, that’s between you and God. I don’t answer to God, and I consider you hypocritical jackass who has no right to climb up upon your high horse and call others “deviants.”

Quite Concur. And I’d go a few better in this case:

1. While I can accept Josh Duggar’s saying understanding he did wrong and being sorry for having wronged others, the fact still remains that what he did was sufficiently odious as to disqualify him from any public facing position for the medium-term future, and possibly forever. If you commit acts the public find egregious, you can justly expect to be ostracized. Forgiveness does not mean you don’t get punished.

2. Based on this story, the local Child and Family Services in the municipality where Josh Duggar lives need to take a close look at his family. This should be done be done honestly and fairly, of course, but someone who has acted as he did needs to be monitored.
