The AL GOP normally could nominate a dead dog and be guaranteed at least 51% of the final vote. If Doug Jones actually has things tied up, then something has gone very wrong.

I’m not quite buying it either, but most online CW is that if Sessions is the (R) candidate, he’ll most likely win - in a romp. If it’s Tuberville, bets are off, and Doug Jones has a credible shot. Old Jeff has been a Major Player in Alabama since forever, if he can’t win the nom, then there’s obviously something going quite wrong in the AL GOP.
We can only hope.
