Control+click(and hold) then select “copy link” from the menu. Alternatively click(hold) and drag. As an aside, on a macbook I find it helps workflow to have ‘tap to click’, ‘dragging’ and one of the two ‘secondary click’ options enabled in the trackpad preference pane.

Control+click (and hold) doesn’t work for me.

I have to left click in the address bar, hold and drag it across the entire URL (and sometimes they’re too long for the address bar and I just HOPE I got it all), and then let go and right click, to get the options, including copy.

But on the macbook, I can set the options to “tap to click”, no problem.
