This book, No Bone Unturned, is about the wrangling that went on over the body of Kennewick Man. It’s primarily a book about the career of Doug Owsley, a forensic anthropologist who’s now the head of physical anthropology ay the Smithsonian (Kennewick Man was one of his his first big cases and it turned his life upside down).
It’s a fascinating read. It’s 340 pages and I blew through them in in a couple of evenings—even bought a hardcopy and sent it to a friend who lives out west.
