Agree completely and it makes perfect sense. I think this country has always leaned more right than left. I doubt many conservatives would disagree with that statement. If that is a true statement, it would seem to follow that the left’s elected officials, if they wish to remain as such, have less room for craziness. I also think the average person on the right is more committed than the average person on the left. Remember back to when Bush was elected in 2000. Not long after the SC decision, I recall that most of the left being pretty much accepted things. True, there was an uproar and protests. However, imagine if Obama had won his election in the same fashion as Bush 2000.
