roasted a kabocha squash tonight with butter, ginger and honey.
we’ve been noshing on the result.
Leftovers will be a pie tomorrow.

raw, it smells like watermelon, tastes a bit like papaya.
roasted, it is transformed: nutty-flavored cross between a sweet potato and a pumpkin.
