You’re right about the Paulians; I’ve been poking around the ronpaulforums.

Some think he must be associated with the Liberty movement, and worry that the press will use his crimes to paint the movement with that broad brush. Many are very supportive of the content of his manifesto, for example calling it, “a fantastic letter”, something “i can relate to”, “fascinating”, etc. They seem split between whether what he did was “stupid” & “undermines his arguments” or whether he’s “a soldier who died in battle for the cause of liberty” & “political power flows from the barrel of a gun.”
