Getting to strong data protection means strong passwords at each level - from your email, to your bank accounts. The stronger, the tougher it is to get in.

I even go so far as to use different email addresses for different accounts. Multi-factor authentication helps too, but it’s a PITA. Besides, that too has it’s limitations. Nothing is 100% secure once it’s out there.
