The problem with the high cost of a college education is not so much the high price, but the fact that you do not learn much of any value. The exception maybe the hard sciences and engineering. You still need to worry that your future employer doesn’t go the H1B route. Providing loans and grants only exacerbates the problem. (see subprime mortgage crisis)
