That’s on top of the evidence that Russians were behind a move for California to secede.

Everything Russia is doing is part of a long term disinformation campaign designed to weaken the US. Targeting the 2016 election makes perfect sense as part of that strategy.

And they are using our own weakened citizens to accomplish it. This is what happens when you have crap like FOX News and Alex Jones. They actually facilitate the Russians and the Russians are smart enough to know it.

It isn’t even a Trojan horse. It’s more like the Russians sent the wood and other materials needed for the horse and we are building it for them.
