People are ripe for being misled by the Internet. Social media are for keeping in touch with friends and families, if you rely on them as sources of news, it is your own damn fault if you get led down the garden path…

Problem is Facebook, Twitter and others feed into mainstream news. Look how Trump’s tweets get picked up by the major networks. Once something sketchy gets to national news shows it more or less becomes book fact.
