I dunno guys. I just think for people who consider themselves the “True Americans”, there’s a lot about conservative America’s mindset that I think is at odds with what has made this country great. In the end, I guess it’s your choice how you live your life but I think you really limit yourself by not seeing the world and country beyond your backyard. You don’t even have to go abroad. Just seeing a major city or region different from yours helps.

They built their prosperous farms all by themselves with no help from anyone.

Even though great-grandpa got the land from the federal govt at a price of $0 as a homesteader, after federal troops removed the people who’d lived there before him, and the federal govt paid for the railroad that made it possible for them to sell their crops, and the federal govt sent the scientists who reclaimed the land and made it fertile again after they’d over-cultivated it into a dust bowl…

But the federal government are meddlesome assholes who never did a thing for them and we must oppose them in every way.
