The article said that the MegaChurch livestreams so there’s no need to hold services in person. The only real reason for continuing in person services at this time is that they probably pass the plate to collect funds and if the service is online, they will lose that opportunity.

Certainly many parishioners may not be computer literate and so therefore would be deprived of religious observances — but the church should be placing the lives of the congregants first, if they actually cared about them.

You’d think that they’d be able to figure out putting a PayPal button or link onto the web page. Sheesh. Frictionless payment systems are pretty much what the modern web is built around.
