I believe it’s not only that, but you can be sued in any county in Texas, so not only can the plaintiffs shop for judges, but they can do it in a way that makes it prohibitively hard for you to show up to the hearing, ensuring a lost suit and a hefty and chilling windfall for the harassers.

I don’t see how this evil law is not going to be a complete clusterfuck in the court system. Fuck Abbot.
