The Oath Keepers are some of the most dangerous of the militia groups out there today. Their YouTube postings are beyond bizarre and frightening. Most of them get pulled before too long.
They are the group who posted the WARNING youtube that they would declare war if Obama didn’t leave the country by Oct. 15

Under Army Regulations (AR 600-20, Army Command Policy), participation in “extremist organizations” is forbidden to Soldiers. Extremist organizations are defined as those that “advocate racial, gender, or ethnic hatred or intolerance; advocate, create, or engage in illegal discrimination based on race, color, gender, religion, or national origin, or advocate the use of or use force or violence or unlawful means to deprive individuals of their rights under the United States Constitution or the laws of the United States, or any State, by unlawful means.”

Threatening to overthrow the lawfully elected President of the United States certainly qualifies under that definition.

Violation of that regulation is grounds for punishment by court martial or administrative separation.
