Charles, if I may, I want to propose an idea of how to stop bumping off of the pages from the “Recent” list without limiting the no. of posts.

After all, we’re not concerned with how many pages people actually post, but only with prolific posters not bumping off more rare posters off the list too quickly. But then the only thing that needs to be limited is the number of slots in the “Recent” list per use. 1, maybe 2 max.

I.e. of user A posts 15 pages and the limit is 2, his last two posted articles will be on the top of the list, until another poster comes along and posts his or her n pages, which then will be on top, but taking no more than 2 slots.

This will not discourage participation both by prolific and rare posters. What do you think?

Won’t help, rare posters will still get booted off quickly.
