Why do you assume it’s an attempt to control YOU?

Take a sampling of 100 random people and ask them is it appropriate to use the term “retarded”.

It’s an attempt to curb the use of the word, not an attempt to control you.

In your mind, the consensus of those 100 random people would be. “Use ‘retarded’ all you want, they are just trying to control your mind.”
